Johns Hopkins Film Festival 2004
Client: Johns Hopkins Film Festival
Year: 2004

The poster for the 2004 Johns Hopkins Film Festival is perforated, so that it can be made into a 32 page flipbook. When deconstructed the poster literally converts from static broadside into an example of the time-based media showcased at the festival.

Flipbook Animation
When in flipbook form, the poster/animation can also be used as an abstract map for getting to the festival as it zooms into the US, Baltimore, a map of the campus, and finally into the building and theater where the films are being screened.
