This ink wash lettering treatment was used on our package design for Future Islands' In Evening Air LP. Based on neoclassical typography, the design pays homage Future Island's classic new wave roots, but brings an unexpectedly delicacy, ephemerality, and a personal quality to a normally sharp and severe lettering style.
