The Johns Hopkins Film Festival is an underground film fest held annually on the campus of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. The festival features a range of experimental film, video, and animation, with an emphasis on little known and more "out there" work. For the 2001 poster, we focused on the underground aspect of the festival; how it presents the left-overs and detritus of mainsteam cinema. The festival title was created on a movie theatre floor spelled out of popcorn and twizzlers.
