Dear American Airlines

Square_HM.DearAA_book.jpg

Stuck with thousands of other irate passengers at O’Hare airport, this novel’s protagonist writes a letter of complaint to American Airlines. Beginning as a scathing demand for a refund, the letter soon transforms into a personal document of a life misspent and opportunities lost. We photographed a paper airplane — made from the first page of this letter — crashing into the novel’s title. Art Director: Michaela Sullivan
