In a nod to total film overload and the “vision” of hundreds of filmmakers, the Maryland Film Festival 2011 poster is dominated by a huge, abstracted eyeball with the festival title reflected in the pupil. Upon closer inspection, the iris is built from scenes of a film set placed against the backdrop of iconic Baltimore buildings. The Maryland Film Fest street team did an amazing job covering Baltimore with these posters and yard signs—there was no escaping the giant film eyeballs! (Bonus when hung as a pair of eyes.)
